England secured a 3-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in their opening Euro 2024 warm-up friendly at St James' Park on Monday night.

The Three Lions struggled to break down a resolute Bosnia side in the first half. However, a much-improved performance after the break saw them take control of the game.
Youngsters Impress
Youngster Cole Palmer opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Trent Alexander-Arnold smashed home a fantastic volley to double England's lead.
Captain Kane Makes His Mark
The experienced Harry Kane wrapped up the win with a late goal, ensuring a comfortable victory for Gareth Southgate's men.
Southgate Seeks Balance
Despite the win, Southgate acknowledged there is still work to do to find the right balance for his final Euro squad selection. He will be looking to build on this performance ahead of their next friendly against Iceland and their Euro 2024 opener against Serbia.
